Welcome

Welcome

The series of International Workshops in Lattice QCD and Numerical Analysis began in 1995 at the University of Kentucky. Since then, the meeting has been held at least every four years, in 1999 at the University of Wuppertal in Wuppertal, Germany, in 2003 at the UK e-Science Centre in Edinburgh, Scotland, in 2007 at Yale University, in 2008 at the University of Regensburg in Regensburg, Germany in 2010 at Boston University, and in 2012 at University of Adelaide, in Adelaide Australia. The primary aim of these workshops is to bring together applied mathematicians and theoretical physicists to stimulate the exchange of ideas and disseminate new results among students, junior faculty and leading experts in the fields of lattice quantum field theory (LQFT), numerical analysis and computer science. The transfer of knowledge facilitated by previous workshops has in turn led to the development of many new algorithms for large scale lattice computations, leading ultimately to a substantial reduction in overall costs in simulations.

Information about the conferences is available through the sidebar, as well as a directory of complete talks from the First and Fourth Workshops.

The Eighth QCDNA workhsop will be held on June 19-21, 2014 at Yale University. Registration for this workshop is available on the sidebar.
